Established November 7th, 2009 |  Statement of Faith

It happened in 2009. Driving home from Michigan, Hank Workman had a sudden vision. It was the inside of a wide-open warehouse. The lights shone down on the big bare-bones structure. The immediate thought was ‘what a cool place to have a church.’ It appeared much like a flash and was gone, but in the coming minutes, hours, and days, it was a feeling that he simply couldn’t shake.with the Word, sharing in community with others, and working together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Meeting
6 people came together after 2 weeks of prayer about the possibility of starting a church called The Warehouse. It would be a place much like Sam’s Club or Costco. The bells and whistles would be stripped away to get to what really mattered – getting the supplies you need to make an impact for The Kingdom. This meant getting filled with the Word, sharing in community with others, and working together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Mission
Our mission is to impact lives with the love of Jesus and the power of the Gospel in order to produce disciples in the fullness of grace and truth.

The very heart and soul of The Warehouse is to meet people where they are, with no judgment, but to love like Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. Our vision is driven toward the marginalized; those hard pressed in life, or, as Jesus refers to in Matthew 25:45, ‘The least of these.’ Our desire is to empower others, through The Word, to live in the fullness of God’s glory, and to develop into fruitful Christ-centered leaders.

About Us

First Sunday
The first Sunday of every month is known among Warehousers as “First Sunday.” Immediately following the service, a carry-in takes place where we share together around the table and get a chance to hear through an open mic of the great things God is doing among us.

The Passover Celebration
Every year on Maundy Thursday a solemn dinner is served indicative of the Last Supper Jesus ate with his disciples. It is a rich time of reflection, worship, and wonder at what He went through for each of us.

The Baptisms
Every few months we have a baptismal service at a local pond where we hear the testimonies of newly committed believers and celebrate the changed lives before us.

Other Events
At varied other times throughout the year there are get-togethers, open houses, and events where fellowship is found and a safe place to invite friends is welcome.

The Governing Board
The bylaws of The Warehouse have set the governing board as a Board of Elders. They meet monthly.

The Collaborative Partnerships
The Warehouse believes in collaboration with other churches and groups to carry out the mission!
